Season 2 - PFAS and Groundwater

The second season of Under Our Feet takes us into the below-ground networks through which water moves before it comes out of our taps. We focus on "forever chemicals" - PFAS compounds - that are used in everything from non-stick cookware to raincoats to fast food wrappers and fire-fighting foam, and are pervasive in the environment. But, once these compounds get into our bodies they can adversely impact our health, as some communities know all too well.
